The IASCL 2008 Conference Award
The deadline for applications has now passed. The committee have selected 26 recipients: 24 awards are supported by IASCL (the International Association for the Study of Child Language) and 2 awards are supported by LAGB (the Linguistic Association of Great Britain).

Delegate Fee
The registration fee for pre-registered delegates includes:
• Attendance to all sessions and entry to the exhibition and poster displays.
• Delegate bag and conference material
• Attendance at the Welcome Reception
• Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks as published in the programme.
• Attendance at the Conference Ceilidh
• Membership of IASCL until 2011
Registration Fees
• Presenter/Author/Co-Author fees before 29 February - £280
• Presenter/Author/Co-Author Student fees before 29th February - £150
• Non Presenter/Author/Co-Author fees before 15 March - £280
• Non Presenter/Author/Co-Author Student fees before 15 March - £150
(All presenters must register before 29th February or their paper
will be withdrawn from the programme)
• Non Student fees after 15 March - £350
• Student fees after 15 March - £200
• Non Student On Site - £500
• Student On Site - £300
Cancellation Penalties
Cancellations before 15TH APRIL will be refunded less a £50 admin fee. Refunds will not be given after this date. Notification of cancellation should be sent to the conference organisers in writing by fax or email.
Conference Hotels
Unfortunately the conference hotels are now fully booked.If you have booked accommodation through In Conference, any changes to the reservation must be made directly with the hotel.

Alternative Accommodation
Delegates should now contact hotels and bed and breakfasts to
organise their own accommodation, please visit the following websites
for information on booking alternative accommodation:
www.edinburgh.org/accom and www.visitscotland.com.
Edinburgh University also offers budget accommodation at Pollock Halls of Residence which you can book direct at their website.
Late/Delayed Arrival
Should you wish to check into your room earlier, it is safer to reserve the previous night as well. Please note that should you fail to arrive on your expected date then the hotel may release your booking.
Changes to Reservations
Any changes to the reservation must be notified in writing to the Conference Organisers (In Conference Ltd) and not directly to the hotel.

Payment can be made by credit card only. Only Visa or Mastercard card can be accepted.
