*You can only register for the ISDB member rate if you are a fully paid up member of one of the national DB Societies which is associated with ISDB.  You can also register at the member rate if you are a member of UK Genetics Society or the British Society of Cell Biology.  The Societies are:

Terms and Conditions of Registration
Before you proceed with your registration, please read the following terms and conditions carefully:

Notifications of cancellations should be made in writing and sent to the conference organisers (In Conference Ltd). Substitutions can be made at any time. If you have been invoiced but not paid the fees, you are still liable to pay the cancellation charges below:

Before 1st June 2009
The accommodation and registration fee will be refunded less £35 administration fee.
After 1st June 2009
The accommodation fee will be refunded only if the room can be resold. The fee will be refunded less £35 administration fee.
After 3rd July
No refunds on accommodation or registration fees will be made.

No shows will not be refunded and are still liable to pay the full conference fees if they remain unpaid at the time of the conference.  Cancellation charges will be made by the accommodation venue for the total of nights booked. If you fail to arrive at the conference you are still liable to pay in full.

Payment of Registration Fees
Full payment must be made by credit card at the time of registering. Credit Cards accepted are VISA and MasterCard only, NOT American Express or Visa Debit cards.

Special ISDB Travel Grants We are pleased to announce that the ISDB will award a small number of travel grants to make it possible for younger scientists from less scientifically developed regions to attend the meeting. PhD students, postdocs and group leaders who have run their lab for fewer than five years will be eligible. The value of the grants will be US$500 for people coming from Europe; US$1000 for North America; and US$1500 for the rest of the world. The selection panel will consider three criteria: the country in which the applicant works, the financial need and the scientific merit. To apply for one of the strictly limited number of awards, please send a copy of the abstract you intend to present at the Congress, a letter of support from your supervisor (or head of department in the case of group leaders), and an outline of the cost of attending the Congress, including any other sources of funding for which you can apply. Applications should be sent to isdb@in-conference.org.uk, to arrive no later than March 1st 2009. Successful applicants will be informed by April 1st 2009.
