Chris Kintner completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
and postdoctoral work in laboratories at King’s College in London, Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and Harvard University. He was appointed assistant professor at The Salk Institute for
Biological Studies in 1987, leading to his current position as Professor in 1998.
