Ben Scheres

Ben Scheres (Utrecht University, NL) is interested in how organisms develop from cues at different levels of organization: how are cell polarity cues, patterning information and mechanical properties combined to direct multicellular development? He studies these questions in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana using a combined experimental and theoretical modeling approach.
