Helen Skaer

I did my Ph.D. and an extended postdoc in Cambridge working on epithelial biology while bringing up a family. I started my own lab in Oxford where we worked on the development of renal epithelia in Drosophila.  We moved to the newly opened Centre for Developmental Genetics Sheffield in 1997, returning to Cambridge in 2001.
