Elly Tanaka

Elly Tanaka from the Center of Regenerative Therapies, Dresden, works on the mechanism of limb and tail regeneration in the axolotl, a salamander. An important dimension of her work has been to establish new genetic approaches to solve problems in axolotl biology and apply them to questions in regeneration.
