You should have a minimum of 3 years proven track record in a target driven environment and be an accomplished presenter with excellent copywriting and design skills.    Self-motivated and able to work independently without extensive supervision, you will take the lead on identifying business opportunities, actively pursue new clients and undertake research to ensure our proposals and presentation materials are tailored and meaningful to each of our prospects.   You will work closely with other Senior Managers to develop sales strategies for increasing sponsorship income from industry partners and identify other funding opportunities that are essential to the charity and not-for-profit clients that we work with. Increasing membership amongst our Association clients will mean that you will be able to think outside the box and design campaigns that keep retention rates high and attract new members each year.  You will be a social media whizz who can demonstrate your success in developing marketing plans across all media platforms - traditional and digital.  With an eye always on a good story, your copywriting skills will ensure that our client’s message is relevant to their audience and not just a post for a ‘post sake’.    Key Responsibilities Include: Identifying new business opportunities which fit with our philosophy, experience and skills Ability to meet sales targets A flair for designing high quality branded documents and presentation materials Attending pitches and presenting to individuals/large committees. Ensuring the company and client websites are up to date with current news Building and maintaining traditional and social media campaigns for the company and our clients eg LinkedIn, Twitter etc Keep our marketing materials fresh and relevant Design and produce content for newsletters, e-shots etc Provide content for award entries Report on client feedback and encourage positive testimonials    Skills/Qualities   Recognised marketing or business qualification Experience of working with not-for-profit/charitable organisations or in a comparable business Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise to shifting timescales A team player who is equally happy working on their own as working with others to achieve common goals Ability to work in a demanding environment with a flexible and adaptable approach Enjoys working in a small company environment where everyone’s skills and abilities are acknowledged and valued Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a meticulous proof-reader Analytical approach which questions the status quo and can suggest ways to improve it A ‘people’s person’ where sincerity and genuine warmth shines through their personality Passionate about working with the company and building on its future success Fluent in English.  Additional other European languages is an advantage Salary & Benefits We are happy to talk about a flexible working pattern as well as remote working.  Immediate start Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (FTE) Contributory company pension scheme.
