International Society for Developmental Biology (ISDB) was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on September 2009. Over 1500 delegates attended - the highest ever recorded, exhibition space sold out 3 months in advance of the meeting. Over 900 posters were displayed; an important component of the meeting was to attract early career researchers to attend. We are now working on the 2017 meeting which will be held in Singapore with an expected attendance on 800 international delegates.
International Mammalian Genome Conference (IMGC). In Conference worked on this conference since 1998, the conference annually rotates between the US and Europe, over this period some of the venues where we managed this conference included Edinburgh, Seattle, San Antonia & La Jolla California & Florida.
Commonwealth Forestry Conference
18th Commonwealth Forestry Conference was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in the summer of 2010.
British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS). We have managed the BGCS meetings of 2010 in Glasgow and 2011 Spring Meeting in Cardiff. We are currently working on this year's meeting in Newcastle on July 9th - 10th and will continue to be the organisers of the 2016 meeting.
European Zebrafish Meeting
7th European Zebrafish Meeting was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in July 2011. The meeting was attended by over 850 delegates making it the largest European Meeting to date. Exhibition space sold out 5 months prior to the conference and the original fundraising target was smashed.
International Epidemiology Association 19th World Congress of Epidemiology (WCE) was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). The congress attracted over 1500 delegates, making it the largest to date. Over 2200 abstracts were submitted through our simple but sophisticated electronic submission system. Registration costs had to be kept to a minimum to ensure that as many delegates from disadvantaged economies from around the world could attend, we attracted delegates from over 80 countries.
4th International Conference on Quantitative Genetics was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in June 2012. The conference was attended by over 700 delegates making it the largest conference in the series. The main conference ran over 6 days, and in collaboration with the meeting, we also managed a series of pre and post conference courses for the European Institute in Statistical Genetics.
36th European Society of Neuroradiology Annual Meeting was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), September 2012. The Scientific Committee pulled together a forward-looking programme that brought together experts in Neuroradiology, with invited lecturers, symposia, workshops, proffered papers and poster presentations. The Meeting attracted over 800 delegates and a full exhibition.
International Federation for Heat Treatment & Surface Engineering (IFHTSE) was held at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow 17-20 October 2011. The congress brought together presentations from over 30 countries. The social programme included a Civic Reception hosted by the Lord Provost and Glasgow City Council at the City Chambers and conference dinner at the Grand Central.
10th Transgenic Technology Meeting was held at the Tradewinds Resort, St Pete Beach Florida on October 2011. We were also the organisers for the 2014 meeting at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on October 2014 where the biggest TT meeting ever was held.
